In view of thermal environment in kindergarten buildings in hot summer and cold winter zone in winter, conducts a survey and field measurement in two typical cities of Chongqing and Wuhan and obtains the evaluation index of thermal environment for children. Based on the method of metabolic rate correction, calculates the predicted mean vote (PMV) of children. According to the physiological and behavioral expressions of the children’s actual thermal sensation, obtains the thermal sensation vote (TSV). Compares PMV with TSV of children in the two cities. The results show that the differences between PMV and TSV are about 0.2. The main factors influencing children thermal comfort are the children’s activity frequency and teacher’s subjective control on the indoor thermal environment.
